Midyear Mayhem is an Elder Scrolls Online celebration dedicated to Pelinal Whitestrake. There's no better way to honor the Divine Crusader than with a PvP event. Tamriel adventurers who want to pay their respects to Whitestrake are invited to get an event invite from the Crown Store. This will grant them access to the event's content and rewards. Once they have the ticket, players will head towards Cyrodiil. There is an NPC there that has a quest called Midyear Mayhem. Two Pelinal related rewards are obtained by completing this quest. The scroll gives players more alliance points when taking part in the alliance war, battlegrounds, and the Imperial City. As long as the event is active, the scroll can be reused. The alliance war is part of the Elder Scrolls Online base content. Battlegrounds are a Morrowind feature so players will need the expansion. The Imperial City is a DLC that can be obtained as a one time purchase or by getting a premium subscription. 

Special equipment, Elder Scrolls Online items, and cosmetic options are available throughout the event. The most sought prize is the Midyear Victor's Laurel Wreath. Seven new achievements can be completed during the event. Boxes and chests that contain Tel Var stones are other rewards. The chests also have a chance to drop siege weapons, repair kits, reagents, Pelinal themed house items, Akaviri themed items, Motif pages, and prismatic runestones. During the weekend, a special vendor gives players the chance to obtain necklaces and rings. The vendor accepts alliance points as Elder Scrolls Online currency. This merchant is found is Cyrodiil. Players who want to collect all event related items should check the Crown Store for bundles. Three crowns: the Circlet, Diadem, and Coronet, can be obtained from event bundles. Midyear Mayhem recompenses all PvP fans who take part in any activity but duels. It's not necessary to have the Morrowind expansion and the Imperial City DLC but those who have them will increase their chances of getting more rewards.
