Elder Scrolls Online – Play The Markarth Prologue For Free
Elder Scrolls Online is wrapping up the Dark Heart of Skyrim story. We are a bit sad to see the adventure come to an end, but on the other hand, we are excited to see the conclusion. We are also looking forward to the next expansion. The next ESO DLC, Markarth, is coming in November. As you can see, there is still time to play the game so things are not over just yet.
The Markarth DLC brings the ending of this year's adventure. The DLC is premium content, but you can play the prologue quest for free. You don't need any DLC or expansion. The base version of the game is enough. Here is what you need to do. Go to the crown store and pick up the House Ravenwatch contract. This is an item that can be found under the Quest Starters tab. This item will give your first task. You get to meet a familiar NPC from the base game. Gwendis is your teammate for this adventure.
You might also remember Gwendis from the Stonethorn DLC if you have played it. Your goal is to uncover the myth of the Gray Host. This is a mysterious army. The quest reveals some terrible secrets about the House of Ravenwatch. The discovery is important because the fate of the entire Tamriel is at stake. When you complete the prologue, you get the Reliquary of Dark Designs memento as a reward. This item gives you the chance to call a Stone Husk illusion.
Markarth DLC adds a new area to the game. You get the chance to explore the Reach. The DLC also comes with a new solo arena. More about this new DLC will be revealed in the following weeks. For now, you should focus on the Lost Treasures of Skyrim event. It starts on September 23rd and ends on October 5th. The event gives Elder Scrolls Online players the opportunity to obtain three tiers of items. You will add a new pet to your collection.
The event also has a house as a reward. The first item of the house guests collectibles is available during this event. The Lost Treasures of Skyrim event is all about the Antiquities system. You will need to discover treasures. The event also comes with bonuses for those who complete content in Western Skyrim. Markarth DLC is coming on November 2nd for PC and Mac and one week later for consoles.
