Elders Scrolls Online Console Enhanced Features

The console enhanced version refers to the game version for the new consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The update will allow the game to run better on these systems. Players will notice the performance gain and also the improved visuals. Before the update, the game ran in compatibility mode. This caused some limitations. One of the most annoying ones restricted the game to 30 FPS, which for some players is not acceptable. The good news is that the ESO console enhanced version features a Performance Mode that allows it to run at 60 FPS. Now, that's more like it. Another feature that's on the upgrade list is the draw distance. Players will be glad to know that the draw distance is now almost double as it was before. This means that you will be able to see more and get a better view of the surroundings. It is extremely helpful in combat situations. It also allows players to enjoy the beautiful scenery. High-resolution textures are included in the Elders Scrolls Online console enhanced edition. Unlocked textures will make the game look better on bigger screens. The anti-aliasing was also improved. Elements such as the edges of buildings or foliage will look smoother. The upgraded anti-aliasing will make these elements looks sharper when players zoom in. The console enhanced version comes with improved reflections. The graphics now feature planar reflections. This has a high impact on water areas. Make sure to check out the water in zones such as Summerset or Vivec City. For zones that have many or large water areas, the reflection improvement might not be that noticeable. This happens when Performance Mode is on. Areas where performance matters more than visuals – Cyrodiil, for example – will have a decreased reflection improvement. The lighting was improved thanks to better ambient occlusion. This has an impact on shadows as well. The resolution for shadows has been doubled. It will have the same quality as the Ultra setting on PC. This is the highest setting. The shadow distance, depth of field, and loading times were also improved.
