Elder Scrolls Online: Come Celebrate The Witches Festival

Elder Scrolls Online is hosting once again the Witches Festival. This is a Halloween-themed in-game event that is celebrated every year. To get started, you must complete the event quest. Get the starting quest item from the Holiday section of the crown store for free. After you complete the Witchmother's Bargain quest you get the Witchmother's Whistle memento. This item will give you a 100% XP buff that lasts for two hours.
The whistle can also be used to transform your character's appearance during the event. Players who have completed the quest in the past will find the whistle in their Collections menu. However, there's more to the event than that. Thanks to the XP buff, now's the time to level up a character. More rewards drop from bosses during the event. Besides the normal items, you will also get a plunder skull. This is a chest that may contain various items.
Throwing Bones is a memento assembled from 10 pieces that drop from the chest. You might also get Hollowjack and Dremora style items. The chest can have festival-themed recipes and furnishing items. The Dremora plunder skulls are special chests that are obtained once a day the first time you kill a different kind of boss. These special chests contain all the rewards from the normal chests and more.
The additional items include Dremora motif chapters, festival writs, treasure maps for Glenmoril, Grave Dances weapon style pages, and Glenmoril armor outfit pages.
The festival-themed writs allow you to get an achievement and a title. The reward for achievement is a witch hat. Dremora motif pages drop from various bosses. For example, shoulders and axes pages drop from world bosses while staves and belts pages drop from delve bosses. All kinds of bosses drop pages of different types so make sure to complete as many as you can during the festival.
The Witches Festival is also a good time to earn event tickets. The event comes with the Crimson Indrik, the final evolution of the Indrik mount. Don't forget to visit the Impresario NPC to exchange your tickets for various items. The NPC sells all four Indrik feathers, the first Crimson berries, a memento, and grab bags. These bags may contain items from a past Witches Festival event. If you have all the items, the bags will give you group repair kits, motif pages, collectibles, and more. The Witches Festival ends on November 3rd.
