Research is the process through which the player learns how to apply a trait to crafted items. The researched item will be destroyed to learn the trait. 

Clothing works best with a character that uses light or medium armor. The materials, leathers and cloths, are refined from raw materials gathered by the players. Leather materials are looted from mobs and plants can be picked up. Players should also remember to complete the associated writs.
