Elder Scrolls Online – What is Shadows of the Hist DLC
Shadows of the Hist is one of the optional DLC packs available for Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG. The DLC has two dungeons. Elder Scrolls Online players get access to two dungeons that are not available in the base game: Cradle of Shadows and Ruins of Mazzatun. There is no level requirement for these dungeons as they scale based on the group's leader level. Each dungeon has two difficulty levels: normal and veteran. Both dungeons are themed in the Argonian style.
Players meet the Argonian branch of the Dark Brotherhood. The Argonians requires assistance with a group of rebels that might disrupt things in the province. Cradle of Shadows dungeon reveals the lore behind this plot, who the Silken Ring is and what are their plans. The other dungeon, Ruins of Mazzatun, sends adventurers into an unexplored territory. The ruins, also known as the Puzzle City, are home to an Argonian tribe that is not friendly, nor benevolent. Players must fight to liberate other Argonians from the ruins. The loot includes six Elder Scrolls Online item sets, three in each dungeon, and new monster masks. Each dungeon has its own set of achievements. There are also new appearances that can be collected from the dungeons. Just like other Elder Scrolls Online dungeons, a group of four players is needed to run the dungeon. Characters that are at least level 10 can use the group finder to quickly find party members to complete the dungeons. Veteran difficulty is more challenging so players are advised to find reliable teammates for this mode.
Elder Scrolls Online Plus subscribers have free access to the DLC. The optional premium subscription allows players to enjoy DLC content and features without paying for them. As long as players are subscribers, they can play DLC content just like regular base game content. If players opt out of the subscription, they lose access to the DLC until they become premium subscribers again. Alternatively, players can permanently get DLC access by buying it from the store.
