The Undaunted is an Elder Scroll Online guild similar to Thieves Guild or Mages Guild. Undaunted members are adventurers committed to fighting evil creatures all over Tamriel. Players of any faction can join the Undaunted as soon as they leave the starting game area. Each main city has an Undaunted base from which players can pick up the quest to join this alliance. Undaunted quests task players with clearing normal dungeons, veteran dungeons and trials. Players main objective is to acquire reputation and to unlock skills in the Undaunted skill line. Dungeons achievements will grant Undaunted reputation when completed. Players can do these achievements alongside the Undaunted dungeons quests. As soon as players hit level 45, they will receive a letter asking them to travel to an Undaunted location. This initiates the quest that unlocks pledges. These are daily tasks that reward Undaunted reputation. Until veteran rank 1, players will do normal pledges. After veteran rank one, veteran pledges become available. A pledge has one main requirement and additional optional objectives. The main requirement is to complete a dungeon. Players will want to complete side objectives too because their reward depends on this. When a pledge is turned in, players receive a bronze, silver or gold key depending on task's difficulty and how they handled it. Keys open chests that contain all sorts of items. Soul gems, cosmetic items and such can be found in a chest. Besides pledges, players can also complete delves. These are also daily tasks but with an easier objective than pledges. Players unlock reputation ranks when reaching certain thresholds. Abilities in the Undaunted skill line become available as players acquire ranks. The abilities are suitable for players who want to build a support character.
