Players can purchase it by paying each month, once every three months or once every six months. Those who opt for the three and six months plans get a small discount and end up paying a bit lower than 13 euros a month.

Elder Scrolls Online Plus membership includes premium currency, access to all DLCs and a 10% bonus to XP, gold, crafting and inspiration. Crowns are the premium currency used by the game. Monthly payers get 1500 crowns, those who get the three months plan get 4500 and the ones who opt for the six months plan get 9000. The amount of crowns is given to players at the start of their billing cycle. Crowns are used for cosmetic options, pets, mounts, and various ESO items such as XP scrolls, potions and gems. Elder Scrolls Online DLCs are also permanently unlocked with crowns. One of the compelling reasons to get a Plus membership is temporary access to all DLCs. Paying members are able to enjoy DLC content as long as they have an active premium subscription.

The 10% XP and ESO gold bonus is nice but it's not that attractive. DLC content is certainly worth the money but most players will want to get a good understanding of the base game before trying out the DLCs. So, for a new player, the subscription is not that helpful considering that the XP bonus is just 10%. Players that want to Power level ESO faster can get XP scrolls from the crown store. Crowns can be bought in various packs by any player not just by premium members. For a veteran player that wants to check out DLC content the subscription is certainly worth the money.
