Warden is a class introduced with the new expansion but not all players have to start a new character to look like a Warden. The Dwarven war dog will follow its master all over the world but, as it is only a companion pet, it will not interfere in combat. The discovery pack also contains three treasure maps that will allow players to find chests all over Vvardenfell. Players will be sent the maps through the in game mail system. After players retrieve them, the maps will be placed in the inventory under the miscellaneous category. Elder Scrolls Online treasure maps don't reveal too much about the location of a chest and they certainly don't show how to get there. Players will see just a picture of the location that can be anywhere in a certain game zone. They know they are at the right location if they see a small mound that can be clicked. The chest is obtained and the map is removed from the inventory.

Players looking to start a new character, maybe a Warden, are given a few items to boost their ESO leveling adventures. The discovery pack has two scrolls that increase XP gain by 50% for two hours. A Dwarven crown crate is among the items found in a discovery pack. This crate is filled with useful items and may also contain a rare cosmetic item.
